Privacy policy
Apruebo calculates your grades and how much you need to pass. This page explains what data it stores, where, and how to delete it.
Without an account
Your courses, grades, formulas and terms are saved only in this browser. They are not sent to any server. To delete them, clear this site's data in your browser.
With an account
An account is optional. If you create one, we store:
- Your email address.
- If you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier. We don't store your name or your photo.
- What you saved in Apruebo (courses, grades, formulas and terms), to show it on any device where you sign in.
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days or until you sign out.
We use your email only so you can sign in to your account, for example to send you the sign-in link, which expires after 15 minutes. We don't use it for advertising or share it with anyone.
Feedback
If you send us feedback with the “Feedback” button, we store the type you chose, your message, the page you sent it from (without what you typed on it) and the date. We don't link it to your account, your email or your IP address. To prevent abuse, the server keeps your IP address in memory for one hour to limit how many messages you send, and doesn't store it with your feedback. As on any website, the server records the IP address of every visit in its access log. Don't include personal data in your message.
What we never ask for
We will never ask for your institution's intranet password. You enter your grades yourself.
Third-party services
Apruebo uses no advertising or analytics tools. If you choose to sign in with Google, the sign-in button is loaded by Google and is governed by its own privacy policy.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Your account. This deletes your email, your sessions and what you saved in it. If backups exist, the deleted data disappears from them when they are renewed.
